Drinking water analysis

The microbiological and chemical quality as well as radon in drinking water must be determined by analysis. These analyses shall be carried out by accredited laboratories according to standards
EN ISO/IEC 17025.

The National Food Agency in Sweden is the regulatory authority for drinking water control.
Hiring of accredited laboratories is recommended even for the control of drinking water quality in private wells.
