The accreditation activities are funded by customer fees in order to cover all the costs of accreditation. International projects are financed by revenue, where those who ordered the projects pay all costs. Within legal metrology fees are paid for surveillance in areas such as heating, water and electricity. The grant-funded activities constitute a minor part of the turnover and consists, amongst other things, of referral responses, information, market surveillance, regulatory work and legal metrology.
The total turnover for 2024 amounted to SEK 169 million.
Swedac´s revenues for 2024 was from 16% grants and 84% fees and other revenues.
