Information from cookies is not used to identify people who visit the website, but to improve the website for visitors and newsletters for subscribers.

Cookies are text files that are used to improve the website for the user, for example to be able to adapt a website to the visitor´s preferences. A cookie is stored on the visitor´s computer during a set period of time or until the visitor deletes it. A session cookie is stored temporarily in the computer memory during a visit to a web page. Session cookies are deleted when the web browser is closed.

Most web browsers are configured to allow storage of cookies. If you do not want to allow this it can be turned off. Information on how you do this can be found in the help function of your web browser.
