To apply for accreditation, please use the form below, and attach the mandatory enclosures. For applications in certain areas you are also required to give additional information. There are forms for this, only available in Swedish. Therefore, upon application in English, a case officer will contact you if further information is needed.
The requirements that are placed on you who want to be accredited within an area are stated under each working area. If a working area is missing, an application for acceptance of conformity assessment scheme may be required. The applicant for accreditation is aware of the rules for the accreditation area and commits to complying with them, as well as reporting to Swedac any changes that may affect their ability to maintain the accreditation. An application fee of 4,000 SEK shall be paid by the one submitting an application for accreditation in accordance with §5 STAFS 2022:14.
If your application isn´t confirmed with a registration number within a week, contact the registrar via telephone +46 771 99 09 00 or registrator@swedac.se.

Application for accreditation
Below, you choose what you are applying for. First time accreditation is only applicable if the organization is not previously accredited. In other cases, choose "change in accreditation." In the first step, only sufficient documentation is required for Swedac to make a cost calculation. In the second step, additional documentation is requested to conduct an assessment that the accreditation requirements are met. If you have all the documentation ready at step 1, it is fine to submit everything in the first step. For the extension of accreditation with a new Conformity Assessment Activity, follow the process for a new application and follow its steps. The accreditation number is only filled in when applying for changed accreditation. Hereby, we apply for accreditation with the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (Swedac).
